How to Install 2018-2022 Jeep Compass Dome Light Bulbs

The following information is step-by-step instructions on how to install your new LED T10 Wedge 168 194 LED Bulbs Interior Lights Replacement
For this installation, you’ll need:
- Trim puller tool
Step #1
The dome light in this Jeep is under the safety handles.
Step #2
Hold the handle down.
Step #3
Use your trim tool to pry free the cover on one side and then on the other.
Step #4
Wiggle and pull the whole assembly down by the cover.
Step #5
You can see how these tabs keep it locked in place.
Step #6
Now use your tool to pry the light assembly from the handle.
Step #7
Pry open the side of the light opposite the on and off.
Step #8
Remove the incandescent bulb.
Step #9
Replace with the LED bulb and test it.
Step #10
Slide in one side of the cover and push the other side back in.
Step #11
Line up the locking tabs on the light housing and push it back in until it locks.
Step #12
Feed the whole assembly back up pushing the handle clips back in.
Step #13
Lock the tabs by pushing the cover back up.
