Lexus RX350 Low beam installation

You may find your halogen bulbs are quite dim, which may make it hard to see in front, especially in bad weather or severe driving conditions. Upgrading your old halogen bulbs of your Lexus RX350 to new aftermarket LED bulbs can add a great new look to your vehicle as well as  enhance  visibility at night for safer driving experience.

If choose to upgrade your old halogen bulbs to new LED bulbs, it is best to confirm you have the correct LED replacement bulb by referencing the original stock halogen bulb part number located in the vehicles direct owner’s manual or directly on the original bulb.  

Below we will show you how to install your new ALLA Lighting LED bulbs to your Lexus RX350 Low beam headlight

Bulb Sizes for 2007 – 2015 RX350 is H11 for the low beam. 

The following information is a step by step instructions on how to install your new H11-FL-BH forward lighting bulb.

Compatible Vehicles(non-HID models): 2007 Lexus RX350, 2008 Lexus RX350, 2009 Lexus RX350, 2010 Lexus RX350, 2011 Lexus RX350, 2012 Lexus RX350, 2013 Lexus RX350, 2014 Lexus RX350, 2015 Lexus RX350

Tools Required: The following will be the recommended tools required for your installation. 

-Flat head screw driver or trim removal tool

Lets Get Started!!!

Step: 1) To gain access to the headlight housing you must remove the engine cover by removing the retaining clips. To remove the clips press the center down and pry them upward from the side. remove all clips until the engine cover is free.

The bulbs will be located next to the windshield washer reservoir and next to the air inlet.

NOTE: the H11(low beam) and 9005 (high beam) bulbs look nearly identical. Please confirm you are not removing the 9005 bulb.

Step: 2) Unplug the connector by depressing the retention clip and pulling the connector off of the bulb. Remove the bulb by twisting counter clockwise until the bulb is free from the headlight housing.

Step: 3) Align your new LED bulb by making sure the LED chips sit left to right when locked into position in the headlight housing. You can confim this by making sire your LED bulb tabs match your original bulb tabs and the LED chips rest left to right like the picture below.

Step: 4) align the big tab at the top of the bulb with the tab opening in the headlight housing then twist clockwise to lock the bulb into place.

Step: 5) Connect the bulb socket to the vehicle harness and test bulbs before reassembly. Repeat step 2 through 4 for the other side.

Step: 6) Reinstall the engine cover by lining up the holes for the clips on the engine cover to the holes on the vehicle and insert the clips with the cap pushed out. Push the cap down to lock the cover into place.

Congratulations!! Your installation is now complete. If you experienced any issues in which unable to complete installation please contact us for assistance. If the  LED bulbs are experiencing hyper-flashing, flickering, an error code issues, then load resistors for this application will be required to be installed. These issues occur due to the LEDs low current nature which draws much less current than original stock halogen bulbs.
