Introduction:
This blog will explain step by step how to replace or upgrade the vanity mirror lights bulb on a 2022 Chevy Malibu (2019-2023 Chevy Malibu) with all new LED light bulbs from ALLA Lighting.Â

Tools Needed for Installation:Â
Flathead screwdriver
The Following Information shows step by step the installation instructions on how to install Vanity Mirror Lights on a 2022 Chevy Malibu (2019-2023 Chevy Malibu) with all new LED light bulbs from ALLA Lighting.Â
Step #1:Â
Locate the stock Vanity Mirror Light Bulb
Begin by flipping down the visor and flipping up the lid.Â
Step #2:Â
Remove the lens
There are 4 clips holding on the lens. Insert the screwdriver into the little slot on the side and pry out the clips from the slots and the top and bottom clips and remove the lens.Â
Step #3:Â
Remove the incandescent light bulb
Pop out the incandescent light bulb with the screwdriver or with your hands. Use caution, incandescent bulbs are glass and can break.Â
Step #4:Â
Install the LED light bulb
Once you have removed the incandescent bulb, install the new LED light bulb. Make sure the LED chips are facing outwards (not inwards) Can twist to position.Â
Step #4 Continued:Â
Install the lens by inserting the inside tabs first. Then push in the other side.Â
Step #5:Â
Repeat same steps to the other lens

Congratulations!! Your installation is now complete in your 2019-2023 Chevy Malibu. If you experienced any issues during your installation and unable to complete installation, please contact us for assistance. If the LED bulbs are experiencing hyper-flashing, flickering, an error code issues, then load resistors for this application will be required to be installed. These issues occur due to the LEDs low current nature which draws much less current than original stock halogen bulbs.
