How to install: 2012 Harley Davidson Brake light application to install new LED brake lights.
You may find your halogen bulbs are quite dim in your 2012 Harley Davidson, which may make it hard to see in front, especially in bad weather or severe driving conditions. Upgrading your old halogen bulbs of your 2012 Harley Davidson to new aftermarket LED bulbs can add a great new look to your vehicle as well as enhance visibility at night for safer driving experience.
If choose to upgrade your old halogen bulbs to new LED bulbs, it is best to confirm you have the correct LED replacement bulb by referencing the original stock halogen bulb part number located in the vehicles direct owner’s manual or directly on the original bulb.
Below we will show you how to install your new ALLA Lighting LED bulbs to your Brake light/Parking light.
Bulb Sizes for brake/tail light is 3157.
Tools Required for installation: The following will be the recommended tools required for your installation:
Philips head Screwdriver

Step: 1) Remove the tail light assembly by removing the 2 Philips head screws at the sides of the tail light lens.
Step: 2) Pull the tail light assembly off to expose the bulb
Step: 3) Remove the bulb from the housing by twisting counter-clockwise
Step: 4) Remove the bulb from the socket by pulling straight up on the bulb
Step: 5) Install the new bulb by pushing straight into the socket
Tip: Check to see if the LED bulb works properly prior to reinstalling the tail light assembly.
Step: 6) line up the tabs from the socket to the tail light housing and twist clockwise to lock the bulb into the housing
Step: 7) Insert the 2 Phillips screws onto the housing first then line up the screws to the screw holes on the motorcycle fender

Congratulations!! Your installation is now complete for your 2012 Harley Davidson LED brake lights. If the LED bulbs are experiencing hyper-flashing, flickering, an error code issues, then load resistors for this application will be required to be installed. These issues occur due to the LEDs low current nature which draws much less current than original stock halogen bulbs.
