Easy How to Replace 2013-2023 Chevy Malibu Front Side Marker Light Bulb

This blog will explain step by step how to replace the front side marker light bulbs in a 2013-2023 Chevy Malibu. The vehicle used for demonstration is a 2022 Chevy Malibu. We will be using all new LED light bulbs from ALLA Lighting.
Compatible Vehicles:
2013-2023 Chevy Malibu
Tools Needed for Installation:Â
7mm Wrench for “Fuse Box”
10mm Wrench for “T Bar
Flathead Screwdriver
Tape
The Following Information shows step by step the installation instructions on how to install front side marker light bulbs from ALLA Lighting in 2013-2023 Chevy Malibu.

Step #1: Locate the stock side marker light bulb
The side marker light bulb is located in the front bumper area. In this blog, we will start with the passenger side.
- Open the hood, and remove the air filter for more space (on passenger side)Â
- 3 clips hold the air filter in place, pull up on both sides to remove. Use tape to hold air filter up to create more work space
Step #2: Remove the incandescent bulb
- Turn the scocket counterclockwise to remove the bulb.Â
- Pull out the incadescent bulbÂ
Step #3: Replace bulb with the LED
- Replace stock bulb with the new strobing LED bulb
- Test out the new bulb
Step #4: Repeat the same steps on the other side
Step #5: (optional to create more space): Removing T-Bar and Battery Connection

These issues occur due to the LEDs low current nature which draws much less current than original stock halogen bulbs.
