Tools Needed for Installation:Â
- Trim tool.
- Tape.
The following information is step by step instructions on how to install your new 2825 194 LED Lights Bulbs 12V 1616-SMD 168 158 194NAK
Step #1
We’ll begin with the driver side map light.
Step #2
Insert your trim tool on the edge closest to you nearest the switch, pry it down until the clip is free.Â
Step #3
On the opposite side use your tool to pry out that clip.
Step #4
Pull down the lens and slide it towards the switch to remove it.
Step #5
We highlight here the three clips holding it in.
Step #6
Wrap some tape around the bulb to make it easier to pull out.
Step #7
Pull out the incandescent bulb.
Step #8
Replace it with the LED and test it.
Step #9
Put the outside edge of the lens in first then push up the other corners to lock it.
Step #10
Now repeat those steps on the other side.
Step #11
Pry out both edges closest to the switch.
Step #12
Wiggle it out towards the middle.
Step #13
Wrap the bulb in tape and pull it out.
Step #14
Replace it with the LED and test it.
Step #15
Put in the outside edge of the lens first then push in the other corners.
These new LED bulbs are much brighter than the incandescent bulbs, they light up the entire cabin of the truck and are pure 6000k white.
