Upgrading the old halogen bulbs on your 2018 Ford EcoSport with new aftermarket LED bulbs can add a great new look to your vehicle and improve visibility for a safer driving experience.
If you choose to upgrade your old halogen bulbs to new LED bulbs, it is best to confirm you have the correct replacement LED bulb by referencing the original halogen bulb part number found in the OEM bulb or in the vehicle’s direct owner’s manual.
We will show you how to install your new ALLA Lighting LED bulbs in your low beam.

Tools Needed for Installation:Â
- Slotted screwdriver
- Flat trim tool
- Curved trim tool
The following information is step by step instructions on how to install your new H8 (H11) LED Fog Light Bulbs.
Step #1
We will begin on the passenger side.
Step #2
 There are several clips holding in the fog light housing. Use your flat trim tool to gently pry open the gap, and then push the clip down to pry it free.
Step #3
Repeat that around the edge for the other clips.
Step #4
Now use the curved trim tool to free the clips on the opposite side to pry out the trim
Step #5
Used your slotted screwdriver to remove the screw at the bottomÂ
Step #6
With the curved end of your trip tool, pull the socket back to front and you can see the bullet socket joints that locks it in place
Step #7
Push on the side tab on the wire harness connector and pull it to disconnect the bulb
Step #8
Rotate the bulb counterclockwise to remove it
Step #9
Plug the New LED bulb in and test it
Step #10
Align the locking tabs of the LED bulb with the housing opening to insert bulb.Â
Step #11
Push in the new LED bulb and rotate clockwise to lock it in place
Step #12
Secure wire harness connector to the LED bulb
Step #13
Slide the housing back in, you might have to give it a pretty big push to lock in the bullet socket joints.
Step #14
Insert the screw at the bottom and twist screw until secured
Step #15
Line up the clips at the trim all the way around the housing and push it in all around until you hear them click into place
Step #16
Now we will repeat the same steps for the driver side
These yellow bulbs are a huge upgrade from the halogen bulbs. They are significantly brighter.

Congratulations! Your installation is now complete in your 2018 Ford EcoSport . If the LED bulbs are experiencing hyper-flashing, flickering, an error code issues, then load resistors for this application will be required to be installed. These issues can occur due to the LEDs low current nature, which draws much less current than original stock halogen bulbs.
