- Flat Trim Tool
The following information is step by step instructions on how to install your new BA15S 1156 CAN-Bus LED Bulbs Amber Yellow Turn Signal Lights 3497 7506
Step #1
We’ll start by locating the vehicle’s rear turn signal light.
Step #2
There are four screws and three clips that will need to be removed. Use a screwdriver or drill to remove the screws.
Step #3
Then use the flat trim tool to pry out the casing and disengage the three clips. You will need to align the clips when reinstalling them, as well as the screw openings.
Step #4
Locate the rear turn signal light. Twist the socket counterclockwise and remove it from the casing.
Step #5
Remove the incandescent bulb, hold and press down, then twist the socket counterclockwise and pull it out.
Step #6
Install the new Alla Lighting LED bulb and then test it.
Step #7
Insert the socket into the housing and turn it in the locking direction to lock.
Step #8
Replace the taillight assembly and align the clips and screw holes. Snap in the three clips and insert the screws back into the opening, use a screwdriver or drill.
Step #9
Repeat the same steps on the other side. Remove the screws with a drill or screwdriver.Â

Using the trim tool pull out the assembly.Â

Locate the rear turn signal light and release the cable wire from the holding tab.
Step #12
Twist the socket counterclockwise and remove it from the housing

Remove the incandescent bulb, bend and push down, then twist the socket counter-clockwise and remove.
Step #14
Insert the new Alla lighting LED bulb and turn it clockwise then test it.
Step #15
Insert the socket into the housing and turn it clockwise to lock.
Step #16
Then insert the cable back into the holding tap.
Step #17
Then align the taillight assembly with the clips and screw openings. Snap the three clips together and insert the screws back into the opening, use a screwdriver or drilling tool.
The new LED bulbs are significantly brighter than the incandescent bulbs in this 2022 Kia Soul rear turn signal light application
