How to Install 2019-2023 Ford Ranger License Plate Light Bulbs

Step #1
The license plate lights are located in the rear bumper.
Step #2
You can access the bulb if you reach under the bumper.
Step #3
Turn the socket counterclockwise to remove it.
Step #4
Pull out the incandescent bulb.
Step #5
Replace it with the LED and test it.
Step #6
Line up the notches on the socket with the slots in the housing.
Step #7
Insert the socket and turn it clockwise to lock it.
Step #8
Now repeat those steps on the other side.
Step #9
Reach up under the bumper and turn the socket counterclockwise to remove it.
Step #10
Pull out the incandescent bulb.
Step #11
Replace it with the LED and test it.
Step #12
Line up the notches on the socket with the slots in the housing.

Insert the socket and turn it clockwise to lock it.
