How to install 2018-2023 Chevrolet Equinox Rear Side Marker Lights with 194 168 LED Replacement Lights

Tools Needed for Installation:Â
- T-15 Torx driver
- Flathead screwdriver
- Trim tool
The following information is step by step instructions on how to install your new 2825 194 168 LED Bulbs replacements.
Step #1
We’ll begin on the tail light assembly.
Step #2
There are two caps covering the torque screws.
Step #3
Use your flathead screwdriver to pop them out.
Step #4
Remove the two screws.
Step #5
Use your hands or a trim tool to remove the assembly front to back.
Step #6
Here we highlight the clips holding it in.
Step #7
Pull out the incandescent bulb.
Step #8
Replace it with the LED and test it.
Step #9
Line up the tabs on the socket with the slots in the housing.

Install the socket and turn it clockwise.
Step #11
Line up the housing with the slots and push it into place back to front.

Replace the two screws and the caps.
Step #13
Now repeat those steps for the other side.

Pop off the caps and remove the screws.

Pop free the assembly and remove it.
Step #16
Pull out the incandescent bulb.
Step #17
Replace it with the LED and test it.

Install the socket and turn it clockwise to lock it.

Line up the assembly and push it back in.
Step #20
Replace the screws in the caps.
These new LED side marker lights are much brighter than in the incandescent bulbs and the pure red color looks great.
