How to Install 2018-2023 Chevrolet Equinox Brake / Rear Turn Signal Lights Bulbs

The following information is step by step instructions on how to install your new 2825 194 168 LED Bulbs replacements.
Tools Needed for Installation:Â
- T-15 Torx driver
- Flathead screwdriver
- Trim tool
Step #1
On the tail light assembly, there are two caps covering the torque screws.Â
Step #2
Use your flathead screwdriver to pop them out.
Step #3
Remove the two screws. Â
Step #4
Use your hands or a trim tool to remove the assembly front to back.
Step #5
Here we highlight the clips holding it in.
Step #6
Turn the socket counterclockwise to unlock it.
Step #7
Pull out the incandescent bulb.
Step #8
Replace it with the LED. When we test it, there’s no hyper flashing.Â

Line up the tabs on the socket with the slots in the housing.

Install the socket and turn it clockwise.
Step #11
Line up the housing with the slots and push it into place back to front.
Step #12
Replace the two screws and the caps.
Step #13
Now repeat those steps for the other side.

Pop off the caps and remove the screws.
Step #15
Pop free the assembly and remove it.

Pull out the incandescent bulb.
Step #17
Replace it with the LED and test it.

Install the socket and turn it clockwise to lock it.

Line up the assembly and push it back in.
Step #20
Replace the screws in the caps.
