Easy Replace 2021 Kia K5 Inner Tail Lights with all new LEDs from ALLA Lighting
Introduction:
This blog will explain step by step how to replace 2021 Kia K5 inner tail lights will all new LED bulbs from ALLA Lighting.Â
Compatible Vehicles:
2021 Kia K5
Tools Needed for Installation:Â
1) Flathead screwdriver
2) Pliers
The Following Information shows step by step the installation instructions on how to install the inner tail lights for a 2021 Kia K5
Step #1:Â Locate the inner tail light
The inner tail light is located above the reserve lights.
- Begin by opening the trunk. The tail light assembly is behind the trunk liner.
- Pull out the 2 clips using the screwdriver. Pop out the middle of the clip with the screwdriver and then pull it out.
- Peel back the liner to expose the back of the light housing.
Step #2: Remove the stock light bulb
- Locate the inner tail light socket and unplug it. Use the pliers to reach the socket.
- Then turn the socket counterclockwise.
- Pull out the incandescent bulb.
Step #3: Install the LED bulb and test it
- Line up the tabs on the socket with the slots in the housing.
- Install the socket and turn it clockwise to lock it.
Step #4: Put the trunk liner back and repeat steps on the other side
- Put the truck liner back.Â
- Replace the clips. Hold up on the middle of the clip to close down the claws to make it easier to install. Push the clip in and then push in the middle to clock it.Â
