The halogen bulbs may be too dim in your 2020-2023 Nissan Sentra, which can make vision difficult, especially in bad weather or severe driving conditions. Upgrading the old halogen bulbs on your 2020-2023 Nissan Sentra with new aftermarket LED bulbs can add a great new look to your vehicle and improve visibility at night for a safer driving experience.
If you choose to upgrade your old halogen bulbs to new LED bulbs, it is best to confirm you have the correct replacement LED bulb by referring to the original bulb or the vehicle’s direct owner’s manual.
In this opportunity, we will show you how to install your new 2020-2023 Nissan Sentra LED License Plate Light Assembly.
Tools Needed for Installation:Â
We’ll open the trunk to make it easier to work on.
Insert your trim tool on the outside edge of the light assembly, push in and pry out that side.
You can see how pushing in the clip allows you to pry it free.
Remove the assembly and unplug the wire connector.
We highlight here where it plugs in and how it fits into the car.
Plug in the new assembly and install.
Slide in the inside edge first and push up the outside edge to lock it.
Now repeat those steps on the other side.
On this side you’ll use your trim tool to pry free the inside edge.
With the same technique push in the clip and pry it free.
Plug the wire connector and plug in the new assembly.
Slide in the outside edge first and then push it up to lock it.

Congratulations! Your new LED License Plate Light Assembly is now complete in your 2020-2023 Nissan Sentra. If you experienced any issues during your installation and unable to complete installation, please contact us for assistance. If the LED bulbs are experiencing hyper-flashing, flickering, an error code issues, then load resistors for this application will be required to be installed. These issues can occur due to the LEDs low current nature, which draws much less current than original stock halogen bulbs.
