How to Change Low Beam Bulb in 2016-2023 Nissan Sentra with new LEDs

If you choose to upgrade your old halogen bulbs to new LED bulbs, it is best to confirm you have the correct replacement LED bulb by referring to the original bulb or the vehicle’s direct owner’s manual.

Tools Needed for Installation:Â
- A towel.
- A phillips screwdriver.

Step #1
The low beams are the outside bulbs in the headlight housing.
Step #2
Open the hood and you can reach behind the housing to reach the bulbs.Â
Step #3
Turn it clockwise to unlock it. The bulb will go from the six o’clock position to the five o’clock position when unlocked.

Pull out the locking tab on the wire connector and pull it off the bulb.

Plug in the new Alla Lighting LED bulb and test it.
Step #6
Install the LED into the housing and turn the bulb clockwise to lock it. The wire will hang at the six o’clock position when locked.

Now repeat those steps on the other side.

To reach the bulb, we need to remove the washer spout. Unscrew the one screw in the top of the frame and pop out the clip.
Step #9
Pull out the spout and put a rag in the open hole to avoid anything dropping into the reservoir.

Reach the bulb and turn it counterclockwise to remove it.
Step #11
Pull out the locking tab on the wire connector and pull it off the bulb.
Step #12
Plug in the LED bulb and test it.
Step #13
Install the LED into the housing the wire out the back will point at the five o’clock position.

Turn the bulb clockwise to lock it, the wire will now hang at the six o’clock position.

Pull the rag out and push the spout back in.
Step #16
Push the clip back into the top and replace the screw.
Step #17
These new 6000k LED bulbs are much brighter than the OEM low beams. When we measure the output with our light meter, the Lux of the LED are more than three times brighter than the halogen bulbs.
