Tools Needed for Installation:Â
- 10 millimeter wrench.
- Trim puller tool.
The following information is step by step instructions on how to install your new 2825 194 LED Lights Bulbs 12V 1616-SMD replacement for 168 158 194NAK OEM bulbs.
Step #1
The inner tail lights are located in the trunk. Open the trunk to remove the assembly.
Step #2
There’s one clip to remove, pop out the middle and pull it out.
Step #3
Peel back the trunk liner and you can remove the four bolts holding in the assembly.
Step #4
Push the assembly out and pull It free from the car.
Step #5
Turn the socket counterclockwise to remove it.
Step #6
Pull out the incandescent bulb.
Step #7
Replace it with the new Alla Lighting LED bulb and test it.
Step #8
Line up the tabs on the socket with the slots in the housing.
Step #9
Install the socket and turn it clockwise to lock it.Â
Step #10
Reinstall the assembly and replace and tighten the four bolts.
Step #11
Put the trunk liner back and replace the clip, push in the middle to lock it.
Step #12
Now repeat those steps on the other side.
Step #13
Pop out the middle of the clip and remove it.
Step #14
Peel back the trunk liner and remove the four 10 millimeter bolts.
Step #15
Push the assembly out and pull It free from the car. Turn the socket counterclockwise to remove it.
Step #16
Pull out the incandescent bulb.
Step #17
Replace it with the LED and test it.
Step #18
Install the socket and turn it clockwise to lock it.
Step #19
Reinstall the assembly and replace and tighten the four bolts.
Step #20
Put the trunk liner back and replace the clip, push in the middle to lock it.
Step #21
These new red LED bulbs look much brighter than the incandescent bulbs.
