Step #1

We’ll begin under the hood.

Step #2

There isn’t enough space to access the headlights, so we’ll have to remove the air filter.

Step #3

There’s one bolt on the top to remove and a rubber socket to remove along the side, plus one more we can’t see on the bottom side.

Step #4

Remove the bolt and lift up the filter to free the two sockets.

Step #5

Pull the air filter from the hose.

You can now access the dust cover, turn it counterclockwise to remove it.

Step #7

Step one to remove the HID bulb is to pull out the top bar. Step two is to flip up the bottom bar. Step three is to pull the bulb out.

Step #8

Push down on the tab on the wire connector and pull it off the bulb.

Step #9

Now plug the wire connector into the new HID bulb.

Step #10

Line up the top notch on the bulb with the tab in the housing. When installed, the wire will hang down at the 6:00 position.

Step #11

Secure the HID Headlights bulb by first flipping down the bar. Next, push the top bar back into place. Be sure to check that the bar is holding tight.

Step #12

Replace the dust cap and turn it clockwise to lock it.

To make the air filter installation easier, pull out the rubber grommet and slide it onto the filter.

Line up the filter and push it down into place, locking in the rubber sockets and replace the bolt on top

For the driver side, we need to remove the battery bracket.

Remove the two nuts on the top.

Tilt the bracket up and pull it out.

Now turn the dust cap counterclockwise to remove it.

Repeat steps one through three to remove the HID Headlights bulb.

Push down on the tab on the wire socket and pull it off the bulb.

Plug the wire socket into the new HID Headlight bulb.

Replace the dust cap and turn it clockwise to lock it.
