How to locate and replace your stock signal relay flasher with an LED relay flasher

This blog is intended to show you how to replace a stock flasher relay to avoid or remove common hyper-flashing turn signal issue when upgrading to LEDs (LED turn signal bulbs). It is not intended to show how to fix a replay problem or repair a flasher. It is recommended to contact us for any questions or to obtain further flasher information.
Pros of replacing a thermal relay with an electronic flasher relay

Cons of replacing a thermal relay with an electronic flasher relay
Not every vehicle has a replaceable thermal (turn signal relay flasher) and it can be a lot of labor for some vehicles. Some vehicle may require you to disassemble the dashboard which is usually a lot of labor and or may have some difficulty locating the stock flasher.
Lets get started!! The Following Information shows step by step the installation instructions on how to install an electronic flasher relay
Step #1 Find out if your vehicle has a physical flasher relay that can be replaced
Can reference the vehicle owner’s manual. At times, vehicle dealer or online forums can also provide information if vehicle is equipped with a stock turn signal relay flasher.
Step #2 Activate the turn signal and trace the tick tock sounds
This is a common method to locate the turn signal flasher.
Step #3 Once you have narrowed down a few possible targets, touch and feel them one by one. Usually you should be able to feel the click from the relay itself
Tip: some online forums can provide information on location of flasher relay.
Step #4 Turn off the power to the car and remove the target relay
Don’t forget this step!
Step #5 Turn back on the power to verify. If you removed the correct relay, then there will not be clicking sound or a dash indicator (may appear as turn signal out message)
Step #6 Turn off the power one more time and install the new electronic LED relay Flasher
Step #7 Plug in relay into the wire connector
Step #8 Turn the power on and test the electronic relay flasher
