Introduction:

Thinking of upgrading those stock halogen dim headlights to all new LED bulbs but don’t know where to start? Or don’t know how to replace the bulbs? This blog will explain step by step easy how to replace stock low beam headlight in a 2023 Chevy Trailblazer with all new LED bulbs from ALLA Lighting. Amazing upgrade, easy with minimal tools required.

Tools Needed for Installation: 

A trim tool

The Following Information shows step by step the installation instructions on how to install low beam headlights in a 2023 Chevrolet Trailblazer (2023 Chevy Trailblazer) .

Step #1: Open the hood

Step #2: Remove the dust cover by twisting it counterclockwise

In video, we started with the driver side low beam headlight. 

Step #3: Twist the stock bulb counterclockwise

and remove bulb from the housing

Step #4: Disconnect the halogen bulb using the trim tool

The trim tool can help with disconnecting however not necessary. 

Step #5: Connect LED plug to stock harness and test it

Suggested headlight bulbs are polarity sensitive. If LED bulbs don’t turn on, flip the connection 180 degrees and retest the LED bulb.

Step #6: Install the LED bulb and turn clockwise all the way until fully locked

The model LED used in our installation video has feature of beam adjustment. Pro Tip*  LED chips should align the left and right (side to side) 

Step #7: Put the cord and dust cover back in the housing

Can push in the cord around the opening inside the housing. This will allow the dust cover to secure back onto the housing. 

Step #8: Repeat on the other side

Optional: remove the windshield washer fluid filler neck for more space during installation.

Congratulations!! Your installation for all new LED Low beam Headlight bulbs is now complete in your 2023 Chevy Trailblazer. If you experienced any issues during your installation and unable to complete installation, please contact us for assistance. If the LED bulbs are experiencing hyper-flashing, flickering, an error code issues, then load resistors for this application will be required to be installed. These issues occur due to the LEDs low current nature which draws much less current than original stock halogen bulbs.
