LED Strobe Brake Lights
Have you thought about upgrading those low light halogen brake lights in your Chevy Sonic for brighter lights?! Look no further, we have provided step by step installation for our Strobe LED Brake Lights in a 2013 Chevy Sonic. Come take a look at how our Strobe LED bulbs feature a flashing effect before brake lights stay on. In this installation for vehicle, no wiring or load resistors required!
*We strongly recommend to confirm all bulb sizes required in your vehicle by checking stock bulbs for part number. The part number required will be located on original halogen bulb from vehicle housing directly*
Bulb size installed in in vehicle brake light application is 7443 halogen bulb size *bulb sizes may vary*
LED bulb part number: STR-7443-5730-33SMD (red / white available)
Compatible Vehicles: 2012 – 2019 Chevy Sonic
Tools Required: A drill would be recommended (not required)
Below we will show you how to install our ALLA Lighting STROBE LED bulbs:
Step 1)
With trunk open, remove screw 1 and screw 2
Step: 2)
Grip 1 hand on top and 1 hand on bottom of assembly to pull assembly straight out
Step: 3)
Twist brake light (top bulb) counter clock-wise and remove from housing
Step: 4)
Pull halogen bulb out of wiring harness
Step: 5)
Insert LED bulb into wiring harness
Step: 6)
Insert LED bulb back into light housing and twist clock-wise
Step: 7)
Replace headlight assembly and push in until clicks
*replace both screws (step 1)*

Congratulations!! Your installation is now complete in your 2012 – 2019 Chevy Sonic. If you experienced any issues in which unable to complete installation please contact us for assistance. If the LED bulbs are experiencing hyper-flashing, flickering, error code issues, then load resistors for this application will be required to be installed in your. These issues occur due to the LEDs low current nature which draws much less current than original stock halogen bulbs.
