How to install 9005 LED bulbs in 2012 - 2019 Chevy Sonic
You may find your halogen bulbs are quite dim, which may make it hard to see in front, especially in bad weather or severe driving conditions. Upgrading your old halogen bulbs of your “insert vehicle” to new aftermarket LED bulbs can add a great new look to your vehicle as well as enhance visibility at night for safer driving experience.
We strongly suggest to confirm all bulb sizes required in your 2012 – 2019 Chevy Sonic by checking stock bulbs for part number. The part number required will be located on original halogen bulb from 2012 – 2019 Chevy Sonic housing directly.

The following information is a step by step instructions on how to install your new “insert LED bulb item”
Compatible Vehicles: 2012 – 2019 Chevy Sonic
No tools required for installation of LED high beams in this vehicle
Step 1:
Twist dust cap counter clockwise and remove
Step 2:
Twist halogen bulb counter clockwise to unlock and remove from housing
Step 3:
Unclip halogen bulb from Chevy Sonic socket

Step 4:
Connect LED bulb socket to vehicle socket until click
Step 5:
Twist LED bulb clockwise in housing to lock in place *beam adjustment varies*
Side note: If LED model has an LED driver (see below) place wiring harness and LED driver in housing with LED bulb

Twist dust cap clockwise to lock over vehicle housing

Congratulations!! Your installation is now complete. If you experienced any issues in which unable to complete installation please contact us for assistance. If the LED bulbs are experiencing hyper-flashing, flickering, an error code issues, then load resistors for this application will be required to be installed. These issues occur due to the LEDs low current nature which draws much less current than original stock halogen bulbs.
