How to install LED headlight Ford Mustang 2007

When choosing to upgrade your old halogen bulbs to new LED bulbs, it is highly recommended to confirm you have the correct LED replacement bulbs. To confirm LED bulb size, always refer to original halogen bulb size via stock bulbs from your Ford Mustang directly.

Compatible Vehicles: 2005-2012 Ford Mustang
Tools Needed for Installation: Drill
Step #1
Take off the air filter intake by removing the 10mm bolt
* Using Drill*
Step #2
Push down the clip and pull out directly.
Step #3
Twist counter clockwise to remove the stock halogen bulb
Step #4
Make sure not to leave the rubber ring/ gasket in the housing if it sticks
Step #5
Connect the vehicle harness connector to the LED driver/LED plug connector
Step #6
Align the locking tabs, insert the new LED bulb and twist clockwise to lock it in the housing.

Make sure the bulb is installed vertically and the LED chips are facing left and right. Pigtail pointing 6 or 12 o’clock has been installed vertically with perfect beam angel. If not in correct position, most models are beam adjustable and can adjust the beam position.

Pro Tip: Use zip ties to secure driver

Put the air filter intake back

Now repeat the same steps on the passenger side.
Correct position of Low and High beam
Low beam LED chip should be in upper position and High beam LED chip should be in lower position.
LED chips should be facing Left to Right (side to side)

Congratulations!! Your installation is now complete in your 2005-2012 Ford Mustang headlight bulb upgrade. If you experienced any issues during your installation and unable to complete installation, please contact us for assistance. If the LED bulbs are experiencing hyper-flashing, flickering, an error code issues, then load resistors for this application will be required to be installed. These issues occur due to the LEDs low current nature which draws much less current than original stock halogen bulbs.
