How to Replace 2022 Kia Soul Interior Dome Lights | Festoon DE3175 LED Installation Guide
Ready to upgrade your old halogen bulbs? Learn how to replace and complete the installation for LED headlight bulbs. Easy installation and tips!
The halogen interior bulbs may be too dim in your 2022 Kia Soul, which can make vision difficult, especially in bad weather or severe driving conditions. Upgrading the old halogen bulbs on your Kia Soul with new aftermarket LED bulbs can add a great new look to your vehicle and improve visibility at night for a safer driving experience.
If you choose to upgrade your old halogen bulbs to new LED bulbs, it is best to confirm you have the correct replacement LED bulb by referring to the original bulb or the vehicle’s direct owner’s manual.

Tools Needed for Installation:
- Flathead screwdriver.
The following information is step by step instructions on how to install your new ALLA Lighting 31mm-3030-12SMD DE3021 DE3022 LED Bulbs Festoon Interior Lights, 6000K xenon White
Step #1
We will first locate the dome light, there are four clips holding the cover.
Step #2
Begin by using the flathead screwdriver to pry open the cover from one side.
Step #3
Here is a comparison on all four clip.
Step #4
Pull the incandescent bulb straight out of the housing.
Step #5
Insert the LED bulb into the same slot with the LED chip facing down.
Step #6
Test our new LED Switchback bulb, before putting the cover back on, switch the on and off button to change colors.
Step #7
The clips will need to be aligned upon reinstallation. Push the cover in until you hear a click on these two clips.
You can compare the brightness difference with the stock incandescent light with our new Alla lighting LED lights.
The LED bulbs light up the entire interior.

Congratulations! Your LED dome light installation is now complete in your 2022 Kia Soul. If you experienced any issues during your installation and unable to complete installation, please contact us for assistance. If the LED bulbs are experiencing hyper-flashing, flickering, an error code issues, then load resistors for this application will be required to be installed. These issues can occur due to the LEDs low current nature, which draws much less current than original stock halogen bulbs.
