Introduction:
In this blog, we will explain and show step by step how to replace the brake tail lights in a 2021 Kia K5 with all new strobe LED bulbs from ALLA Lighting.

The Following Information shows step by step the installation instructions on how to install strobe brake lights.

Step#1: Locate the brake tail light
First, open the trunk. There is an access panel to reach the bulbs. Pull out the panel and you can reach the bulbs.
Step #2: Remove the stock incandescent bulbs
Turn the socket counterclockwise to remove it. Then remove the incandescent bulb by pushing it in and turning it counterclockwise.
Step #3: Install the LED bulb and test it
- Line up the tabs on the bulb with the slots in the socket. Then install the bulb and push it in and turn it clockwise to lock it. If the bulb doesn’t go all the way in, turn it 180 degrees and reinstall it.
- Test the LED both the tail light and the strobe brake light.
- Line up the tabs on the socket with the lots in the housing.
- Install the sock back into the housing and turn it clockwise to lock it.
Step #4: Put back the panel and repeat same step on the other side
Slide back the excess panel in first, then push in the edges in. Fold it slightly to install the front.

If the LED bulbs are experiencing hyper-flashing, flickering, an error code issues, then load resistors for this application will be required to be installed. These issues occur due to the LEDs low current nature which draws much less current than original stock halogen bulbs.
