Easy How to Change Brake Light 2022 Kia Soul with Strobe LEDs
Ready to upgrade your old halogen bulbs? Learn how to replace and complete the installation for LED headlight bulbs. Easy installation and tips!
The halogen rear brake tail lights may be too dim in your 2022 Kia Soul, which can make vision difficult, especially in bad weather or severe driving conditions. Upgrading the old halogen bulbs on your Kia Soul with new aftermarket LED bulbs can add a great new look to your vehicle and improve visibility at night for a safer driving experience.
If you choose to upgrade your old halogen bulbs to new LED bulbs, it is best to confirm you have the correct replacement LED bulb by referring to the original bulb or the vehicle’s direct owner’s manual.
We will show you how to install your new ALLA Lighting LED bulbs for your rear brake tail lights application for your 2022 Kia Soul. Additional compatible vehicles 2021-2023 Kia Soul

We will start with the Inner Tail Light bulb instructions
Inner Tail Light Instructions
Step #1
We will start by locating the upper tail light and lower tail light located in the rear of the vehicle.
Step #2
There are four screws and three clips that will need to be removed, use a screwdriver or a drill to remove screws.
Step #3
Then use the flat trim tool to pop out the housing and disengage the three clips, you will require to align the clips upon reinstallation as well as the screw openings.
Step #4
Locate all three sockets, upper tail light, lower tail light and brake light sockets.
Step #5
We will start with an upper tail light. Twist socket counterclockwise and pull out.
Step #6
Remove the incandescent light bulb and install the new Alla lighting T10 LED light bulb.
Step #7
Next remove the lower tail light socket by twisting counterclockwise.
Step #8
Remove the incandescent light bulb and install the new Allo lighting T10 LED light bulb. Be sure to test the lights before installing back into housing.
Step #9
To reinstall sockets back in housing line up the tabs, insert socket into housing and twist clockwise.
Brake Light Instructions
Step #1
Next locate the brake light socket twist counterclockwise and pull out.
Step #2
Hold and press down on the bulb, twist counterclockwise and pull out the bulb to remove.
Step #3
Insert new Alla lighting LED bulb, be sure to align side notches it doesn’t fit correctly remove the bulb and flip 180 degrees reinsert the bulb and twist clockwise to lock bulb and socket
Step #4
Test the new LED light, this is the LED and tail light mode and this is our strobe model and will flash three times then stay solid light while the brake is engaged.
Step #5
Align the tabs on the socket to the housing, insert socket and twist clockwise to lock.
Step #6
Put back the tail light assembly and align the clips and screw openings. Snap the three clips and insert screws back in the opening using a screwdriver or drill.
Step #7
For the passenger side we will repeat the same steps. Remove screws with a drill or screwdriver, using the trim tool, pull out assembly.
Step #8
First locate the upper tail light socket, twist counterclockwise and pull out.
Step #9
Remove the incandescent light bulb and install the new Alla lighting LED bulb.
Step #10
Repeat the steps for the lower tail light socket.
Step #11
Remove the incandescent light bulb and install the new Alla lighting LED bulb.
Step #12
Test the LED bulbs and install the sockets back in the housing and twist clockwise.
Step #13
Next remove the brake light socket by twisting counterclockwise and pull out.
Step #14
Hold and press down on the bulb, twist counterclockwise and pull out the bulb to remove.
Step #15
Insert new Alla lighting LED bulb. Reinsert the bulb and twist clockwise to lock the bulb and socket.
Step #16
Test the LED bulb, this strobe model will flash three times then stay solid bright light when the brake is engaged.
Step #17
Next align the tail light assembly with the clips and screw openings. snap in the three clips and insert screws back in the opening, use a screwdriver or drill tool.
These new LED bulbs are significantly brighter than the incandescent bulbs, and the strobe feature is great, we’ll flash three times then stay solid bright when the brake is engaged.

Congratulations! Your LED rear strobe brake and inner tail light installation is now complete in your 2022 Kia Soul. If the LED bulbs are experiencing hyper-flashing, flickering, an error code issues, then load resistors for this application will be required to be installed. These issues can occur due to the LEDs low current nature, which draws much less current than original stock halogen bulbs.
