Introduction: 2013-2023 Chevy Malibu
This blog will explain step by step how to replace the front turn signal bulbs in a 2013-2023 Chevy Malibu. The vehicle used for demonstration is a 2022 Chevy Malibu. We will be using all new CanBus LED light bulbs from ALLA Lighting.

Tools Needed for Installation:
T15 Screw driver
The Following Information shows step by step the installation instructions on how to install front turn signal bulbs all new CANBus LED light bulbs from ALLA Lighting in 2013-2023 Chevy Malibu.

Step #1: Locate the stock turn signal light bulb
The turn signal lights are located in the front bumper area.
- Begin by turning the wheels all the way to the left in order to access the fender liner.
- There are 2 torques to remove at the bottom. Remove them.
- Separate the liner form the fender and peel it back.
Step #2: Remove the incandescent bulb
- Turn the socket counterclockwise to remove the incandescent bulb.
- Pull out the incandescent bulb.
Step #3: Replace with the LED
Replace the stock bulb with the new CANBus LED turn signal light bulb and test it.
Step #4: Install the new CANBus LED light bulb
- Line up the tabs on the socket with the slots and housing.
- Install the socket and turn it clockwise to clock it.
- Tuck the liner back into the fender.
- Replace and tighten the screws.
Step #5: Repeat the same steps on the other side
These new LED light bulbs are so much brighter than the incandescent bulbs and these new bulbs are CANBus rated bulbs with no error code, flickering or hyper flashing.

Congratulations!! Your installation is now complete in your 2013-2023 Chevy Malibu. If you experienced any issues during your installation and unable to complete installation, please contact us for assistance. If the LED bulbs are experiencing hyper-flashing, flickering, an error code issues, then load resistors for this application will be required to be installed. These issues occur due to the LEDs low current nature which draws much less current than original stock halogen bulbs.
