This blog will explain how to replace license plate lights on 2021 KIA K5/SELTOS with new LED bulbs from ALLA Lighting.

Tools Needed for Installation:
Flathead screwdriver
The Following Information shows step by step the installation instructions on how to install license plate LED light bulbs.
Step #1: Locate the license plate lights
Step #2: Remove the license plate assembly
- Insert your screwdriver into the tab opening.
- Push the tab in and pry the assembly down at the same time.
- Pull out the assembly.
Step #3: Remove the stock light bulb
- Turn the socket counterclockwise to remove the stock bulb.
- Pull out the incandescent bulb.
Step #4: Install LED light bulb and test it
- Line up the slots on the socket with the tabs in the housing.
- Install the socket and turn it clockwise to lock it.
- Pro Tip: Test the LED bulb before installing back into the assembly.
Step #5: Install the assembly
- Install the inside edge of the assembly first.
- Then install the little teeth of the assembly into the edge.
- Push up on the other side to lock it.
Installation is now complete. Repeat steps for other side license plate housing assembly.
